Mardaani - Women Empowerment or another shrink of a wannabe gender?

It received a lot of appraisal with it's theme and the sporting action packed movie. Mardaani starring Rani Mukherji as Shivani Shivaji Rao, a Crime Branch Mumbai Senior Inspector deals the heinous, illicit and most concerning trade of all times, human trafficking, in an intense screenplay and engaging direction by Pradeep Sarkar.

Investigations
It canvasses the power of a woman who is organised and hones credited confidence of her skills as a Senior Inspector. She is physically strong, dedicated and not the least but bold. As in the trailer we witness, her serious encounter with thugs and how she rains thrashes on the face of those lowly overpowered thugs is a scene that could encourage every citizen to stand up against local gangs of crooks. This encounter is however, mild of we compare it with the theme this movie kept. The investigations, field searches, backtracking and networking had all been displayed with minute details.

The backdrop
Situations in the underworld trafficking girls and women during these on-going investigations too keep your attention focussed on the story. The violence and scenes depicted in the movie forced the censor board to rate the movie with an A grade.

That, however, will not stop people to go watch the movie as it stirs the conscience of every one concerned with the increasing insecurities of women today. Also, it has stirred chief minister of Madhya Pradesh so much because it brought into focus the trafficking of young girls and women that he announced the movie a tax-free status.

But there is still one question that remains unanswered!
Why title the movie Mardaani?
Is it not one another shrink for the cause of Gender Equality that we fight.
Is it not another topic of debate, as to why a woman should be compared to be at par with men when she has equal potential as a human being?
The question remains and answer is with all of us!
Society will never mark development until it loses stops creating a criteria to measure the values of a character- strength, courage, moral stability, perseverance and success.

A place called My India

Every one who is either living in or has their ancestral origin in India are proud to be a part of this rich land. They may call it country of great resource and aspirations. They may also pick their collar up for creating the highest number of scholar and highly skilled technical human resources, the talent of which is enjoyed by entire world. From Xiajing in Kashmir  to Cape Comorin in Kanyakumari and from Changlang in Arunachal to Kutch in Gujarat, we are blessed with a land of diversity in it's climate, vegetation, soil and people leisure their language, lifestyle, thinking, religion and nonetheless freedom to have it all.

Lies!

Indian Politics have become a malignant chronic disease for Indian population in general. When we say politics, one word crosses our mind, a corrupt minister flat face with an overgrown moustache elected on governing chair. Why does it have to be the negative and depressing image for the government we elect when of course not every minister adorn an overgrown moustache on the flat face. The answer is simple, every day we encounter normal people and people with power which makes us blame the government and the root cause politics.

What is this word "politics" anyway?

Well read this, as per theory, politics is the activities associated with the governance of a country or area, especially the debate between parties having power. This definition sounds so sober and elegant that one naive aspirant with an idea to serve one's countrymen can dive into the puddle which actually has layers that lead only to the gateway of hell.
Politics, as per the actions and present day conditions, is an act of an individual or a group on whole to gain irrelevant, improper, unjust, unlawful and unjustified access to the resources of the area's or state's or national jurisdiction and administration. It tweaks the Indian Penal Code, moulds the substantial logics, abolish the rightful freedom of the citizen in general for the interest of a motivated party.

Why do we care?

Instances and History witnesses several examples of a corrupt and over use of power by such political parties and involved organization/bodies have caused only wrath over the population and the culprit stands the people in general who suffer the tyranny, obscene usage of unjust power which fuels their aspirations and the growth cost lives of many innocent men, women, children and cultural dignity.
We have the power to write, we have the power of speech, we have the power to run over the bloody mess of these satans.

Today, I share this one video of such a tyranny. Misuse of power, led to embarrassment and harassment of this young toll booth operator.

Now it's up to you! whether you will stand up for this cause, go against it or live your daily life as such.
I understand the live of the common man means to get up every morning, go to work, work all day and make his way back home and sleep over just to repeat the same actions over and over again. Your only interactions with such cruelties can occur when you are travelling to and from your work. Or when you want to go out and enjoy holiday with your family. Your silence is not criticised. I know this might not reach you ever. But if it does, make sure you take a pledge not to give in to these overpower thugs. Neither they nor their activists should get the pleasure of scaring you by over powering you.
